I know quite a few people are excited about the rumors of Halloween 3D being on the horizon again, but, seriously, don't get your hopes up. It wouldn't be the first time the movie has been on the verge of happening. I'll believe it when I see it. Secondly, if they decide to stay the course with the 3D gimmick, that should be a huge red flag that not only do they feel a gimmick is necessary to sell the movie, but a gimmick that's long since run its course. Trust me, I want to see a new Halloween movie just as much as the next Halloween/horror fan, but would it kill'em to, I don't know, try and make it good. Also keep in mind, Bloody Disgusting "doesn't post wild speculation as news just for a bump in web traffic." So take it to the bank, people! LMAO!

lol @ bloody disgusting.
3D has no appeal to me. I actually wouldn't mind seeing them go back to the Season of the Witch concept of making Halloween films based around different stories that happen on the holiday itself. Something with a real autumnal feel. Or maybe a Halloween anthology film with a Michael Meyers segment among other stories. Something with no silly gimmick (3D, outer space, etc), but also not a lazy retread.

Would love to see Michael on screen again too but not a sequel to the RZ crap movies. Don't want 3D either, hate 3D movies. Gimmicks are lame when it comes to characters like Jason, Michael and Freddy. Keep it simple like the old sequels did. A proper reboot could be fun as long as it feels like a Halloween movie.
